James is a financial industry entrepreneur and specialist management consultant with 23 years experience in Japan, South East Asia and Oceania.
A fluent Japanese speaker, James has structured cross border transactions between Japanese and foreign corporations and with ultra high net worth individuals through the private Family Office service he founded to serve a number of South-East Asian based clients.
In his management consulting James has primarily focused on the areas of banking advisory, compliance, investment advisory, licensing, M&A, multi-jurisdictional corporate structuring, professional directorship and regulatory application and approval.

Takeshi Shiratori is Head of Japan for NZ Capital Strategies Ltd. He has been working in financial institutions for 24 years, 10 of those spent in Japan, 8 of those in USA, and 6 of those in NZ.
Before joining NZ Capital Strategies, he worked with Infiniti Capital as Global Head of Institutional Relationships. Prior to joining Infiniti Capital, he worked with Japan Alternative Investment (JAI) as General Manager. Prior to joining JAI, he worked for Nikko Securities in Tokyo for 10 years as Senior Manager of Alternative Investment Products Division and Equity Research Marketing Division, in NY for 5 years as engaging U.S. equities trading desk, and in Chicago for 3 years as engaging in Euro dollar Futures & Options desk in the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
